Visitors also can swim or fish in Little Lake Johnson or spend a lazy afternoon canoeing. A large picnic area with tables and grills, pavilions and a playground is available for visitors to enjoy. Nestled under the trees are three campgrounds with water and electricity provided. Primitive campsites for small or large groups are available as are fully equipped lakefront vacation cabins, some of which were built by the CCC.

When Fannie Holt and Florence Ellis, natives of Jacksonville, Florida, envisioned their summer camp for girls, the Northeast was already home to several. But the idea was still a novelty in the Southeast.
Keystone Camp was named in honor of their inspired summer setting, and also as a symbol of their shared ideals, as a camp history explains: A keystone is a bridge between two columns. In the same way, Keystone serves as a bridge between childhood and adulthood, as it has for generations of camp-goers.
Yet most traditions have persevered. The camp is owned by the great-great-niece of founder Florence Ellis. Campers still get their news from the weekly Kamp Key. And at the start of each day, as sure as the sunrise, Keystone girls gather for the raising of the flag.
Camp Crystal is home to two beautiful sand bottom lakes. Big Crystal is the home of free swim, water sports, skiing, and sailing. Little Crystal is where we canoe, paddleboard, and enjoy stunning sunsets. Tucked in our rustic camping grounds, Hotdog Heights, is Mosquito Lake, a clear pond where we fish, play, and skin dive.
As our sports programs at camp are constantly expanding, many additions to our sports facilities have been made in recent years. Situated in front of the dining hall is a full basketball court, four-square court, Ga-Ga ball pit, and beach volleyball court.
A lot of camp magic happens behinds the scenes in these two buildings. Our fully-equipped clinic is the home-base for our team of camp nurses during the summer, and meets the medical needs of our groups throughout the year.
Program Description Camp Keystone staff provide children with a positive environment for their week at camp. Their camp experience helps them grow, learn, and be encouraged while striving to meet their spiritual, social, recreational and educational needs as appropriate.
The Keystone recreation center specializes in after-school and summer camps for children. Special interest classes, senior programs and athletic leagues are also offered. A walkway from the recreation center leads to Austin Davis Library, and the park also features a Veteran memorial.
